Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Eastern CT Eagles (Groton, CT), 6-2 in a league match.
The Centaurs (18-1) will now prepare for their match against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, East Haven Watertown/Pomperaug (Watertown, CT), 2-2, in a league match.
Next up, the clash with the Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII match, on Saturday, February 25. Eastern CT Eagles will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
