Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Brewer upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Paschal (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-4. Paschal lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Benbrook (Benbrook, TX)

With the defeat, Denton falls to 3-2 on the season. The Broncos host Sanger (Sanger, TX) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Indians come into the test with a record of 3-1. Sanger won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Ponder (Ponder, TX)
