The Carencro Bears got by the visiting Lafayette Christian Academy Knights baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tioga for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. Carencro will face a Indians team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Indians record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Knights face the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Lafayette Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA).
