Buena Vista Demons (Buena Vista, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Florence Huskies (Florence, CO), 45-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buena Vista upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Demons travel to Stargate School (Thornton, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Stargate School lost 57-56 in their recent non-league bout against Yuma (Yuma, CO)

Next up, the Huskies play the Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 19-2 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO).
