In Saturday's non-league outing, the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) basketball squad nipped the visiting Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY), by a margin of 65-59.

The Rebels (8-22) will now prepare for their outing against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers go into the District 47 outing with a 18-11 record. In their last outing, Somerset was tipped by Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY), 48-45, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-25 record. They play next when they travel to West Jessamine for a District 46 outing on Monday, February 26. Burgin will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Colts record now stands at 7-20.
