Colorado High School Basketball - McClave holds off Cheyenne Wells

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McClave Cardinals (McClave, CO) and the host Cheyenne Wells Tigers (Cheyenne Wells, CO), saw McClave's basketball squad hold off Cheyenne Wells by a tally of 47-45.

With the victory, McClave improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to North Park (Walden, CO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. North Park lost 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against De Beque (De Beque, CO)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Dove Creek Bulldogs (Dove Creek, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 1. Cheyenne Wells will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Nucla (Nucla, CO).
