The Valdez Buccaneers basketball team (Valdez, AK), was toppled 57-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK)
The Rams now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lathrop for a 4A Mid Alaska battle on Thursday, February 29.
The Buccaneers (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Delta (Delta Junction, AK). The Huskies come into the 3A Aurora battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Delta was toppled by Palmer (Palmer, AK), 55-25, in a non-league battle.
