Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) and the visiting New Town Eagles (New Town, ND), saw Standing Rock's basketball squad overcome New Town by a tally of 67-49.

With the victory, Standing Rock improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Trinity (Dickinson, ND) to confront the Titans in a A Region 4 challenge on Monday, March 4. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Trinity won 74-40 in their recent league challenge against Watford City (Watford City, ND)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Dunseith Dragons (Dunseith, ND) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. New Town will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 3-21 record after their 67-48 league loss to Turtle Mountain (Belcourt, ND).
