Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), 18-6 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host San Marcos for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26.

With the loss, Southwest SD falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Lancers in a challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
