The Akiak Thunderbolts (Akiak, AK) basketball nipped the visiting Akiachak Huskies (Akiachak, AK), 40-37 in Saturday's league test.
The Thunderbolts (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Kalskag (Upper Kalskag, AK). The Grizzly Bears go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Kalskag was tipped by Bristol Bay (Naknek, AK), 62-22, in a non-league test.
