In Saturday's non-league outing, the Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) basketball squad edged the host Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), by a margin of 50-47.
The Warriors (23-4) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 19-6 record. In their last outing, Liberty was tipped by Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 46-19, in a non-league outing.
The Wolfpack now own a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Floyd County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 27. Ridgeview will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 46-19 non-league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 18-7.
