The Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) basketball nipped the host Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK), 46-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Moose (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK). The Lions go into the 4A Northern Lights test with a 18-1 record.
The Malemutes now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they host West Valley for a 4A Mid Alaska test on Tuesday, February 27. Lathrop will encounter a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 67-40 non-league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 13-9.
