In Saturday's league test, the host Smithfield Sentinels ice hockey team scored a tight 5-2 win over the Pilgrim Patriots.

The Sentinels (11-14) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, La Salle Academy held off Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 7-3, in a league test.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 27. Pilgrim will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record. The Quakers enter the test with a 4-17 record after their 7-3 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
