The Panthers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacksonville for a 4A Region 2 District 16 battle on Tuesday, February 27. Westwood will clash with a Fightin' Indians squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Fightin' Indians record now stands at 14-3.

The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Hornets go into the 4A Region 2 District 16 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Hudson nipped Trinity (Trinity, TX), 10-1, in a league battle.
