The Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) softball routed the visiting Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA), 7-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Barbe was routed by David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kaplan for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. Barbe will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.
