The Belen Eagles softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Organ Mountain Knights to 7 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Belen moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 27. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 2. Organ Mountain will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Storm come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 19-7 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
