The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Franklin won 15-1 in their recent non-league contest against Andress (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Matadors play the Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 27. Parkland will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Silver Foxes come into the contest with a 0-10 record after their 28-8 non-league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX).
