The Deer Park Deer softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Fulshear Chargers to 2 in the Deer non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Deer Park moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Deer host Dobie (Houston, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a 6A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, February 27. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 6-7. Dobie lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Brazoswood (Clute, TX)

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions (Magnolia, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 27. Fulshear will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to St. John XXIII (Katy, TX).
