The Slidell Tigers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Pope John Paul II Jaguars to 5 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Slidell improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Tigers host Cabrini (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Crescents in a non-league game on Saturday, February 24. The Crescents come into the game with a record of 1-1. Cabrini lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA)

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 26. Pope John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cavalier come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).
