The South Beauregard Knights softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Vinton Lions to 2 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, South Beauregard improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Knights host Sulphur (Sulphur, LA) to clash with the Golden Tors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 27. The Golden Tors come into the game with a record of 6-1. Sulphur lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Pineville (Pineville, LA)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 26. Vinton will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA).
