In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Brenham Cubs baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Cypress Creek Cougars.
The Cubs (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Los Fresnos nudged Economedes (Edinburg, TX), 9-0, in a non-league game.
