The Pennington Tigers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Southeastern Mustangs to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.
The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. Pennington will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Southeastern drops to 1-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-1.
