In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Bledsoe County Warriors basketball team scored a close 70-65 win over the Marion County Warriors.
With the victory, Bledsoe County advances its record to 13-11 on the year.
The Warriors now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roane County for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Marion County will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 72-47 non-league win over Farragut (Knoxville, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 23-3.
