The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) and the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), observed St. Albans's basketball team knock off Capital by a score of 65-51.

The Red Dragons (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds come into the Mountain State challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Parkersburg prevailed over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 61-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Wednesday, February 26. Capital will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 74-69 non-league win over Winfield (Winfield, WV).
