West Virginia High School Basketball - Moorefield overwhelmed by Tucker County

The Tucker County Mountain Lions bounced the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets basketball squad by a final score of 82-40 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Mountain Lions clash with the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV) in a Mason-Dixon outing, on Thursday, February 27. Tucker County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 12-7 record after their 74-64 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, WV).

The Yellow Jackets (6-13) will now prepare for their outing against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado come into the non-league outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Keyser routed Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV), 47-37, in a league outing.
