Next, the Bears encounter the South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Barton will attempt to improve on its 31-1 season record. The Hornet come into the test with a 20-14 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Bigelow (Bigelow, AR).

The Bison (19-13) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks come into the non-league test with a 22-13 record. In their last test, Mt. Vernon-Enola was routed by Quitman (Quitman, AR), 74-29, in a non-league test.
