Vermont High School Basketball - Mt. Mansfield overwhelms South Burlington

The Mt. Mansfield Cougars basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host South Burlington Wolves to 20 in the Cougars league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now have a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Johnsbury Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Mt. Mansfield will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 64-44 league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 18-0.
With the loss, South Burlington falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to confront the Redhawks in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Redhawks go into the game with a record of 12-6. Champlain Valley Union won 43-39 in their recent league game against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)
