In Monday's league contest, the host Phillipsburg Stateliners basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the Ridge Red Devil.
The Stateliners (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ). The Bees go into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Bayonne topped Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ), 60-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devil battle the Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 27. Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 67-65 non-league win over Johnson (Clark, NJ).
