Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) and the host Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC), saw Excelsior Classical Academy's soccer squad knock off Triangle Math & Science by a score of 3-0.
The Flying Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC). The Bulls enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle, on Wednesday, February 26. Triangle Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
