In Monday's non-league outing, the host Lincoln County Red Devils soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Thomson Bulldogs.

The Red Devils (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-II Area 5 outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Washington-Wilkes by Elbert County (Elberton, GA), 6-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA) in a 2A Area 4 outing, on Tuesday, February 25. Thomson will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 10-0 league loss to Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA).
