The Pike County Bulldogs soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host New Brockton Gamecocks to 0 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Dale County for a 4A Area 2 bout on Tuesday, February 25. Pike County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Russell County (Seale, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, New Brockton moves to 1-1 on the year. The Gamecocks travel to Ariton (Ariton, AL) to play the Purple Cats in a non-league bout on Monday, March 3. The Purple Cats go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Ariton lost 11-0 in their recent league bout against Houston Academy (Dothan, AL)
