The Grissom Tigers the host Decatur Red Raiders baseball team by a count of 5-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Jackson for a non-league match on Friday, February 26. Grissom will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Sylvania (Sylvania, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-1.
The Red Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Austin (Decatur, AL). The Black Bears go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record.
