The Langston Hughes Panthers got by the host Bowdon Red Devils baseball team by a count of 11-10 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lovejoy for a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Monday, February 28. Langston Hughes will face a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.

Next, the Red Devils face the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 1. Bowdon will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).
