In Friday's non-league game, the host Headland Rams baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Houston Academy Raiders.
The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Russell County (Seale, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Russell County was overwhelmed by Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 8-3, in a non-league game.
The Raiders (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Chipley (Chipley, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Chipley tipped Vernon (Vernon, FL), 22-0, in a non-league game.
