The Putnam County War Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Jasper County Hurricanes to 3 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The War Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA). The Braves go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Baldwin edged Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
