Texas High School Baseball - MacArthur loses to Smithson Valley

The Smithson Valley Rangers crushed the visiting MacArthur Brahmas baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Harlingen for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. Smithson Valley will face a Cardinals team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.

Next, the Brahmas face the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 3. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX).
