Georgia High School Soccer - Heritage held off by Evans

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Evans Knights soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Heritage Patriots.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAAAA Region 3 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Lakeside nudged Alcovy (Covington, GA), 10-0, in a league challenge.

The Patriots now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lassiter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. Heritage will confront a Trojans team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Kell (Marietta, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
