In Friday's non-league battle, the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lancaster Bruins.
The Copperheads (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Daniel (Central, SC). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
