Texas High School Softball - Mission bounces Edcouch-Elsa

The Mission Eagles routed the visiting Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Lobos go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Palmview was routed by Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Weslaco East for a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, March 1. Edcouch-Elsa will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Zapata (Zapata, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-4.
