Texas High School Softball - Fort Bend Austin bounces Morton Ranch

The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) softball routed the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 15-10 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region III District 20 bout with a 2-2 record.

The Mavericks now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Katy Taylor for a 6A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, March 1. Morton Ranch will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 19-7 non-league win over Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.
