Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays (Pensacola, FL), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lighthouse Private Christian Academy for a challenge on Friday, February 25. Hillcrest will face a Stingrays squad coming off a 14-5 league loss to St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL). The Stingrays record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL) to face the Jaguars in a 3A Area 2 battle on Friday, February 25. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Hillcrest lost 17-0 in their recent non-league battle against Washington County (Chatom, AL)
