In Saturday's league outing, the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers (Glencoe, MN), by a count of 86-70.
The Tigers (19-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights go into the AA Section 2 outing with a 24-1 record. In their last outing, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial defeated Central (Norwood-Young America, MN), 72-43, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Annandale for a non-league outing on Friday, March 3. Glencoe-Silver Lake will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-11.
