In Saturday's league outing, the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), by a count of 70-34.

The Greyhounds (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league outing with a 6-17 record. In their last outing, Grand Rapids was crushed by Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 71-53, in a league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 5-18 record. They play next when they host Andover for a AAAA Section 7 outing on Monday, February 27. Centennial will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 97-91 non-league loss to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 17-6.
