Michigan High School Basketball - Pioneer succumbs to Huron

The Huron River Rats topped the visiting Pioneer Pioneers basketball team by a final score of 40-29 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the River Rats face the Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Huron will attempt to move on its 19-1 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 44-36 league loss to Franklin (Livonia, MI).

With the defeat, Pioneer moves to 10-10 on the year. The Pioneers host Adrian (Adrian, MI) to face the Maples in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Maples enter the game with a record of 9-9. Adrian lost 51-47 in their recent non-league game against Mason (Mason, MI)
