Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) and the visiting Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN), saw Jackson County's basketball squad overcome Smith County by a score of 66-56.

The Blue Devils now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watertown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28. Jackson County will battle a Purple Tigers team coming off a 50-40 non-league win over Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 10-18.
