Virginia High School Basketball - Paul VI edges Bishop Ireton

The Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) basketball nipped the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 47-44 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (19-9) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Bishop McNamara got by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 67-33, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 15-14 record.
