In Saturday's non-league outing, the Dresden Lions (Dresden, TN) basketball squad edged the host Greenfield Yellowjackets (Greenfield, TN), by a margin of 34-33.
The Lions (20-5) will now prepare for their outing against Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Golden Tide go into the non-league outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Peabody held off South Fulton (South Fulton, TN), 46-45, in a non-league outing.
The Yellowjackets now own a 11-7 record.
