In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Roswell Coyotes baseball team scored a tight 12-10 victory over the Hobbs Eagles.
The Coyotes (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Artesia tipped Clovis (Clovis, NM), 14-1, in a non-league game.
