The Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) softball routed the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 13-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Forest (Ocala, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Forest was routed by Eustis (Eustis, FL), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Lecanto for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. Central will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Forest (Ocala, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
