Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pointers confront the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Point Loma will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Sailors enter the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA).

The Red Devils now have a 11-9 record.
